Hi, I'm Jane and I founded Ollie & Nic in 2002 with the aim of offering fabulous handbags and accessories that were as functional as they were fashionable.
Combining my experience of fashion buying and retail I started to develop a new brand to fill a gap between the ever changing high street collections and the designer labels that were out of most people's reach.
How Our Story Started
You may remember the old Ollie & Nic shops which I loved so dearly but as retail and the way we all shop changed, so did we.
When the shops closed we moved the business all online and the large team that we once were moved down to just being me.
If you have any memories of our shops in the 2000s, or early 10s we would love to hear them.
& now in 2025.
Fast forward and my son, Josh has joined me to lead our growing team into the next stage of our story/adventure as we develop into an online business.
I'm passionate about making sure that we take as much care over the details of our designs as we do over the materials we use and the colours we offer each season.
It's important to me that we continue to improve the sustainability of our products and one of my priorities is to ensure that our supply chain works to the best industry standards at all times.
We're always on the lookout for new ideas and love all interaction with our customers via their reviews and social media comments, or “socials” as Josh calls it. The feedback that comes through to me is a real driver in my decision making process over what to do (or not to do again!) when it comes to new products and designs.
